Ann Curry

Ann Curry is an American journalist and photojournalist who has been reporting for over 45 years focused on human suffering in the aftermath of natural catastrophes and war zones. Curry was a reporter for wars from Kosovo, Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. She subsequently moved to the post of anchor and reporter at KGW which was an NBC affiliate in Portland, Oregan. After four years of service, she was appointed an anchor by KCBS TV in Los Angeles. Through the six years she worked for KCBS the station, she won two Emmy Awards.
